Abstract

Telemedicine has emerged as a transformative approach in healthcare delivery, enabling remote diagnosis, treatment, and patient monitoring. This comprehensive review aims to evaluate the role of telemedicine in improving patient outcomes across various medical fields. The study analyzes existing literature to identify the benefits and challenges of telemedicine implementation. The findings indicate that telemedicine enhances patient accessibility to healthcare services, reduces waiting times, and increases patient satisfaction. Moreover, it facilitates continuous monitoring of chronic conditions, leading to improved health outcomes. However, challenges such as technology adoption barriers, data security concerns, and regulatory issues persist. This review highlights the necessity for strategic policies and infrastructure development to maximize the potential of telemedicine. The implications of these findings suggest that integrating telemedicine into conventional healthcare systems can significantly enhance patient care and overall health system efficiency.
